St. Anne's is sponsoring and in need of volunteers for an AIDS Partnership Dinner for approximately 35-50 people to be served at Good Samaritan Presbyterian/UCC church on Wednesday, May 17. AIDS Partnership is a nonprofit faith based AIDS service organization dedicated to serving the HIV/AIDS community and making connections between people who are infected or affected and the faith community. Bishop Smith will be at St. Anne’s on Sunday, June 25 for Confirmations, Receptions (of those from other denominations in which Confirmation is a Sacrament) and Reaffirmations of Faith (by those who have been Confirmed in the Episcopal Church). If considering any of the three, please contact clergy or church office for more information.
The first Sunday of each month is St. Giles Food Pantry. Please bring in food donations to help feed those less fortunate. Suggested items: peanut butter, rice, mac & cheese, pasta, spaghetti sauce, soup, canned vegetables, and proteins such as beans, canned stew, Beefaroni, ravioli and tuna. Paper towels, toilet paper, and dog and cat food are on the list also. Thank you!
Our ministry team visits Pinellas Hope the third Tuesday of every month to minister to the homeless with friendship, hope, prayers and articles of donations (basic necessities). If you would like the blessings received in being a part of this team, contact Dan Hopkins at 727-398-6964.
If you have a green thumb, consider joining God's Gardeners. They meet every Thursday at 9:00 AM to work on St. Anne's beautiful Memorial Garden. Our St. Anne's Cursillo family gathers every second Friday of the month at 6:30 PM for an Ultreya which includes a potluck dinner and fellowship. Everyone at St. Anne's is welcome to attend.
